FAQs

What kind of work will we be doing?

Helena Habitat’s ReStore sells donated materials to help raise revenue to support Habitat’s operational expenses. Volunteers provide customer service, help clean and repair donated materials, stock shelves, load and unload materials from vehicles, and ride along with our driver to pick up donations.

When can I volunteer at the ReStore?

Tuesday – Saturday, 10am – 5pm.

How long is a typical volunteer shift?

Volunteers are typically scheduled in shifts depending on the store’s needs. We ask that you at least volunteer for two hours. Always make sure to check with the ReStore manager to ensure the best possible shift for you and the Restore.

What should I wear?

Close-toed shoes, long pants or shorts directly above the knee, comfortable, loose fitting work clothes.
