Home Repair Programs

Preserving Safe, Decent Housing

Critical Home Repair Program

Habitat’s Critical Home Repair Program works with homeowners who need assistance with repairs that will alleviate health and safety issues and increase their quality of life in the home. The purpose of this program is to keep homeowners safely in their primary residence. This program is designed for larger projects that may take 4-6 weeks to complete.

Helping Hands Program

Helena Habitat Volunteers offer a helping hand to limited-income older adults and people with disabilities of all ages. The mission is to help people age in place and live at home as independently as possible. These repair projects are designed to be completed in one day.

Helena Area Habitat for Humanity programs are not emergency or crisis-based programs. If you have any health or safety issue causing imminent danger, please request a copy of our resource guide.
