What if I need verification of my community service hours?
To maintain a safe environment for our staff and volunteers, Helena Area Habitat for Humanity is required to screen all community service applicants prior to their first shift as a volunteer. We are unable to accommodate any volunteers with the history of violent and sexual crimes, harassment, and theft. Due to the nature of our work and varying ages of our patrons, we are unable to host individuals who are listed on the National Sex Offender Registry. Volunteers serving required hours must bring in documentation before their first shift in order for us to verify hours.
